1.4924 X20CrMoV11-1

 

1.4924 is a hardenable, martensitic, stainless steel designed for use at temperatures up to 630. It has excellent creep-rupture properties in the range of 315 to 630 and can be heat treated to various high-strength levels. It may be satisfactorily welded by the gas tungsten arc and gas metal-arc welding processes.

Hot working:

Forging temperature range: 1200-850℃
 
Note: Heat to 1200 ℃. Do not forge below 850.
 
Heat treatment:

Hardening temprature(℃) for quenching in oil Temper Case hardening
870-910 570-700 780-820

 

Main application:

High temperature & strength for pipe-lines, steam boilers and turbines

Round, flat, step shape, ring, disc, shaft, other shape depend on customer needs
